In Kazakhstan, people with symptoms of coronavirus infection wait for a mobile team for a week. Why such a situation has developed, the First Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Shoranov answered at a briefing in the CCS, Kazpravda.kz reports.

"Now people are complaining that they wait for mobile teams for a week. What is the Ministry of Health doing to resolve this issue? Why is this problem arising now?" - asked the vice minister of health.

The Kazpravda.kz correspondent also tried to call the capital's mobile brigade. For 8 hours, the call did not succeed.

“We have established a standard that on average 5-7 thousand people are attached to one mobile brigade. But today we must take into account the fact that a very large number of primary and health care workers are involved in the vaccination process. Polyclinics are deploying additional vaccination points not only at our bases, territories, but also in places where a large number of people gather, shopping and entertainment centers and other facilities. This is a colossal distraction of human resources, but at the same time, in parallel with mobile teams, we actively use the element of remote tele-consultation," the speaker replied.

According to him, if a person's condition worsens, then a mobile team should come and provide appropriate assistance.

"As for the organization of this issue and what the Ministry of Health is doing. We are constantly monitoring this issue with all regions at the headquarters; we are looking at the activity of mobile brigades, the number of visits, etc. At the same time, we are working with local executive bodies, if possible, for additional allocation of vehicles. To strengthen these services, young doctors, general practitioners, who graduated this year, will be involved," added the vice minister.

He noted that the issue of vaccination is now a priority, but this takes away the resources of clinics. In addition, Shoranov said that the epidemiological situation in Nur-Sultan remains tense.
