Quarantine to be weakened in Kazakhstan starting from October 20. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alexei Tsoi at a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports.

The minister noted that over the past month, the daily morbidity has decreased by 2.1 times, the number of severe and extremely severe cases has decreased by 1.6 times.

According to him, given the stabilization of the epidemiological situation, as well as vaccination coverage of more than 70 percent of the subject contingent, the Interdepartmental Commission decided from October 20, 2021 to allow:

- visiting patients of medical and social facilities (nursing homes, disabled people, children's homes and others) when visitors provide a document confirming the receipt of a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 or a document with a negative PCR test for COVID-19, issued no more than 3 days ago;

- activities of nightclubs only for persons with a "green" status, with occupancy rates up to 50%, but:

no more than 100 people in the "green" zone;
no more than 70 people in the "yellow" zone;
no more than 50 people in the "red" zone;

- to extend the working hours of business objects participating in the "ASHYQ" project:

in the "green" zone - until 03:00, leaders of the "ASHYQ" project - until 05:00;

in the "yellow" zone - until 01:00, leaders of the "ASHYQ" project - until 03:00.
