Condition of cafe explosion victims in Nur-Sultan

The public health department of the capital commented on the condition of the victims of the gas cylinder explosion in one Nur-Sultan cafes, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.
According to the department, 23 people were hospitalized in hospitals No. 1 and No. 2. Another 11 people injured in the explosion are on outpatient treatment with minor injuries.
"Most of the patients are hospitalized with thermal burns of varying degrees, carbon monoxide poisoning of moderate severity, polytrauma. One patient is in the traumatology department with a closed femur fracture, all the rest are in the combustiology department. Their state of health is moderate, without complications," - the press secretary of the public health department of Nur-Sultan Aigerim Ardakkyzy said.
She added that 3 people are in intensive care. Among them, one is in critical condition, two are in serious condition.
"There is one casualty of the explosion. As far as we know, she was an employee of the cafe. Most of the café employees were injured. In total, 34 people were injured," the speaker added.
As we earlier reported, on November 21 at 12:25 pm, a call came to the Emergencies Ministry of Nur-Sultan about the explosion of a gas cylinder in a café-converted cottage. The explosion killed a young woman. It was also noted that 33 people with various injuries were taken to city hospitals. Later, the akim of Nur-Sultan Altai Kulginov said that the families of the victims would receive assistance.
